RULES & REGULATIONS
The following is a list of rules and regulations designed to make everyone’s stay safe and enjoyable.
NOISE: If music, campfire discussion or any other noise disturbs either your neighbors or the owner then it’s too
loud. The rights of all campers is to enjoy peace and quiet are to be respected. All music is to be off at 11:00pm. Quiet time is from 11:00pm until 9:00am. Foul language is prohibited.
VEHICLES: SPEED - maximum speed in the park is 10km per hour. Maximum 2 cars per site, other vehicles
must be parked in designated parking areas. You must park on your own site. Do not park on vacant sites or green
areas. Motorized dirt bikes, ATV’s, mini bikes are prohibited. Golf carts are allowed, subject to owner’s approval.
They must be quiet and insured. Minors are not allowed to drive motor vehicles or golf carts in the park.
PETS: Pets limited to 2 dogs per site, must be controlled on a leash, in the park, on the road, and at the beach. Leash may not exceed 15’ in length. Do not tie pets to trees. Pets must be kept quiet and obedient. You must clean up after your pets. The owner reserves the right to ban any pet from the park at any time. Pets are not allowed in any public buildings.
CAMPFIRES: Campfires are allowed in fire pits only, and must be attended to at all times. Please ensure that your fire is extinguished before you leave or retire for the evening. Do not burn garbage or anything that may cause objectionable fumes or odors.
CHILDREN: Parents are responsible for the care, safety and supervision of their children at all times. Children must abide by all the rules. Bike helmets must be worn by all people under 16 years of age. No bike riding after dark. A
responsible person (over the age of 12) must supervise all children under the age of 6.
PLAYGROUND & BEACH: The playground and beach areas are not supervised. All persons using them do so at their own risk. There is not automobile parking at the beach. Playground hours are from sunrise to sunset.
No cutting of any trees or brushes.
FIREARMS & FIREWORKS: All firearms and/or weapons considered dangerous are prohibited.
ALCOHOL & DRUGS: Alcoholic beverages & marijuana may not be consumed in public areas – Provincial Law. Illicit drugs are not allowed in the park. Anyone found with illicit drugs will be reported to the police and evicted immediately.
ENVIRONMENTAL: Garbage must be put in CLEAR plastic bags, tied securely and placed in garbage dumpster. Common Household garbage only may be placed in dumpster. Please double bag fish remains. YARD WASTE ONLY is permitted on burn pile. PLEASE RECYCLE – We recycle; glass bottles, jars, plastic bottles and containers, tin/aluminium cans, cardboard and paper ONLY. Place recycle materials in blue recycle barrels located across from dumpster. The registered camper is responsible for removing: furniture, appliances, barbeques, lawnmowers, and any other large items not listed from the campground. Please see the office for directions to and hours of operations for the local dump. No cutting of any trees without the consent of the owner. Please protect the park’s septic systems. Do not flush sanitary napkins, diapers, paper towels, grease or other solids down any toilet or sink in the park. All campers using sewage outlets must fill their holding tanks, before discharging waste, and all waste tank valves must be kept closed until the tank is full. Only environmentally friendly waste treatment, such as RV KLEEN may be used in holding tanks. $100 fine for anyone caught breaking these rules.
VISITORS: All visitors must register at the office UPON arrival and pay applicable fees. Visitors who are not staying overnight are expected to leave by 9:00pm. The registered camper is responsible for the actions and safety of his/her visitors and must ensure that they are fully acquainted with all the park rules.
MAINTENANCE OF SITE: The occupier of a site shall exercise such care as is reasonable in the maintenance of the site during his/her occupancy and to see that persons entering onto the site and the property brought on the site by those persons are reasonably safe. The owner will not be liable as a result of the failure of the occupant to do so.
RESPONSIBILITY: The owner assumes no responsibility for any loss or cars or their contents, regardless of cause. The Occupant agrees that the use of the campground or its facilities is solely at the risk of himself, his family and guests.
The Occupant, his family, and his guests, for themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assign HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE and FOREVER DISCHARGE the owner, his agents, servants, successors and assigns OF AND FROM ALL CLAIMS, demands, damage costs, expenses, actions and causes of actions, whether in law or equity, in respect of death, injury, loss or damages to himself, his family or guests or their property HOWEVER CAUSED, arising to or arise by any reason of occupation of the above mentioned site and use of the campground or otherwise, whether prior to, during or subsequent to this AND NOT WITHSTANDING that the same may have contributed to or occasioned by the negligence of any of the aforesaid. The Occupant further undertakes on his own behalf and on the behalf of his family and guests to indemnify all the aforesaid from and against any and all liability incurred by any or all of them arising as a result of or in anyway connected with this permit.
